Mission & Values
ASC Concepts is a social impact consulting boutique that propels individuals and organizations to activate their missions and potential, strategize for success, and communicate with impact.

Through curiosity and collaboration, ASC aims to help clients envision opportunities, conceive and crystallize their goals and objectives, problem-solve, and create and implement strategies that bring their vision to life and strengthen their organizations.

ASC cultivates relationships and community that are grounded in our Five Cs:
-
Curiosity
-
Courage
-
Conviction
-
Collaboration, and
-
Compassion
which guide what we do, why we do it, how we do it, and with whom.
My Story

A proud Chicagoan, I credit my family, who were active in local politics, the late Mayor Harold Washington, and my beloved Chi-town with my pursuit of social impact, civic engagement, and community-building work.
As a strategist, communicator, and bridge-builder with nearly 20 years of applied leadership in public policy, public engagement, public programming, philanthropy, and communications, I have translated my diverse work experiences, skillsets, and competencies to make me a valued partner in designing and implementing savvy strategies, crafting compelling communications, and helping clients level up with coaching and facilitation that align action with vision and deepen impact.
Prior to launching ASC, I had the pleasure of working on staff at organizations like the Jane Addams Hull-House Museum at the University of Illinois at Chicago, the City of Chicago's Office of the Mayor and Commission on Human Relations, Woods Fund Chicago, and Columbia College Chicago.
I graduated from Saint Ignatius College Prep and earned a Bachelor of Arts from Wellesley College and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Chicago's Harris School of Public Policy. My incredible teachers and deep friendships at all three places, as well as my favorite elementary school teachers, Mrs. Tatum and Mrs. Robinson, significantly shaped me into the person, leader, and life-long learner I am today.
My favorite activities, besides working, include reading, writing, traveling, dancing, taking long walks with my dogs, and enjoying great conversation over good food with family and dear friends.
